I would say that 40 out of the 48 balls are in the condition that I expected. Unfortunately a few balls had small scrapes of chunks in the ball that will absolutely affect performance.

To be honest the standard has slipped a little. The mint used to be the top category however now that they have introduced the pristine category the mint standard has deteriorated and the price hasn’t changed. I would say 10% of the balls I ordered did not fit into the new mint description and the standard is not what it was a couple of years ago for most of the balls.

With lostgolfballs, I always find that 80-90% of the order is great and the other 10-20% of your order leaves you wondering if they even have a quality team that double checks the condition of the balls. My last order of 48 “mint” prov1’s included about 40 brand new looking balls, and about 8 balls with gashes so deep I won’t be playing them. I guess it’s still cheaper than going out and buying new from your local golf galaxy, but I am always some level of disappointed when receiving my order. Just bank on 10-20% being non playable when factoring in the price of your order. (I’ve placed multiple orders for various 12 ball packs and have always found this to be true as well).
