I am not super knowledgeable about golf balls and I am new to the sport. So when I get what looks like to be a brand new ball for half the cost count me in.

These balls are hard (high compression) and come off the driver with a nice loud sound. Carry distance is slightly shorter than some of the other high compression balls probably because the PXG have a higher spin rate. With Irons they don't have a great feel compared with softer balls. I could use these balls and be happy but they are not my favorite. Approx. 107mph driver, 85mph irons
